I have a few used textbooks and books that I want to sell, because I need to get money for paintball. I have normal reading books and some text books. Where can I sell them in or near Simi Valley, CA? They don’t need to be in the same place, I don’t mind driving, I just want a good price.

Just worried about Canadian laws on copyrights and such and selling some old textbooks. These university textbooks are at the latest 2 years old, and all the others are much older. So is it against the law to sell these textbooks that I used (at a lower price than the time I bought them of course) ? I finished using them and I no longer want/need/use them anymore. It’d be a waste to throw them out.

I have a few textbooks that are mostly out of print, and I know that all of the buyback sites online do not take out-of-print or non-current edition books. What can I do? Should I try eBay?

I have many textbooks that I’ve only used a few times. I’d like to sell them all at once to like a bookstore or what not and get a lump some for them. Do you know of any websites or stores?

Hi, I want to sell some of my textbooks on Amazon.com
I need to know, what kind of mailers do I need? I know they are media mailers but I’m not sure which one to purchase
Please let me know and provide links if possible, also, if any of these mailers are available at the Post Office or Office Depot please tell me
Thanks!

I have used textbooks and I have seen people posting their used textbooks on amazon.com before. Is this free to do? And does amazon take a part of the profit? Please help! thanks

When answering, could you please give me as much information as you know about the particular website? (Fees, payment methods, ease of use, etc). Thanks

I’m in university and I am debating on whether I should sell my used textbooks or not. Obviously, I could potentially earn back a good amount of the money that I spent buying the book.
But still, is it worth it to sell? And, should I sell it personally (as in person-to-person) or sell it to the campus used bookstore? The Used Bookstore provides an official receipt but only offers 80% of the profit to the seller. If I sell it person-to-person, I figured I could sell it for at least 90% of its original price but no receipts =(
Which brings me to my next point, how do you determine the price of the used textbook? I know that you can’t sell it for more than the price you bought it for… but what is usually the percentage of the price that students sell them at? 90%? Will someone buy it that high? I mean, I just want a good fair amount of price on my used textbook if I’m going to sell them.
Pls. help… I’ve never done this before…
